Snug: Inventor Athanasia Leivaditou, pictured, has designed an Umbrella Raincoat with a rigid black hood to withstand wind. The sides of the hood are angled so the rain will roll away from the face.
Apparently the hood is very rigid so it doesn’t flatten when there are strong winds.
The lady in the very creative invention above, is the inventor herself! Hailing from Greece’s beautiful weather (well, most of the time) and moving to NY, she decided to invent a coat that would allow her to be able to carry her shopping bags in BOTH hands. Ah…okay. I mean, what are pull-trolleys for?

This is still a prototype, but once she starts coming up with more colours and ‘slimmer’ cuttings, this could definitely be a great sell…even though you’ll look like you just got off the set of Matrix, or off to a costume party.
So…what do you think?

Versatile: The raincoat can be worn in three different ways to keep out the winter weather
Yay or Nay?

I’ve seen these before – I could deal with the hood, but I’m not so sure about the rest of it. Although I might sing a different tune in the midst of a heavy downpour.

This is definitely better than the umbrella hat one of our dear friends has. Right? :p

I don’t think I could do it. Maybe if they made one with polka dots? hahaha!
The inventor should know about this! 😀
