There is a distinct difference between an outfit I’d wear on a short flight, and one I’d wear for the long-haul.

The difference is, I’m a ginormous slob on a long-haul flight.

Although to my credit, I’ve decided to wear flats today because I seem to be under the general impression they’ll make me look less hobo, and more hobo-chic.

Man am I going to pay for this dearly later on the flight when my feet swell to twice their usual size.

BUT WHO CARES, ‘COS I’M HEADED TO MELBOURNE FOR A FORTNIGHT! THAAAAT’S RIGHT!

Well.

Maybe I should start sending out a coupla texts and BBMs. I’m largely aware my nearests and dearests don’t check this blog nearly as maniacally as I’d like to believe. -_-

MTW: Longchamp, Harem Pants & More Rambling

My Longchamp bags never fail to live up to my expectations of them.

I could stuff any Longchamp tote to the brim and would still be able to find a way to cram something else in… and get the zip closed.

It’s terribly impressive, and doesn’t happen to me very often with any of the other bags that I own.

I mean, HOW DO THEY MANAGE IT?! WHERE DOES IT ALL GO? HOW DOES IT ALL FIT?

.

This can only mean one thing.

… SORCERY.

Henceforth, my Longchamp bags shall be known as my Ali Baba bags. For no reason, really, other than the fact that I sometimes enjoy doling out pointless titles to things for the sake of my own personal entertainment.

And also because these bags come off as sort of magical.

My love affair with flowy tunic tops will never die. Never. I like that a longer silhouette elongates my short torso and masks an otherwise less-than-perfect mid-section. Look, I could pig out all day on all kinds of fattening things and nobody would ever clue in. If anybody should be impolite enough to point a fold of fat out (curse you!), immediately blame it on the generous cut of the top, then act offended.

Also, am really into batwing dolman tops for some unfathomable reason. The extra, mostly unneccessary inches of fabric really does nothing except to bring me a strange sense of bliss.
