Remember that look Rihanna donned back in 2009 at the London premier of “Inglorious Bastards”? That cascading arrangement of pearls around her neck was the highlight of her all-black ensemble.

I loved it so much I remember purchasing my own pearls that were already made to layer back in 2009.

However, I stashed them somewhere and never wore them until….recently! I found these beauties (which I had bought from ASOS) in one of my boxes and decided, hey why not use them? Shopping in my closet it is!

Here’s my version:

By layering an enormous amount of pearls, Rihanna made pearls look cool – that you didn’t have to be of a certain mature age to rock pearls.
