Can you tell which of these images below are paintings and which are photographs?

PSYCHE!
They’re ALL paintings! Can you believe it?
Say hello to hyper-surrealism! It’s where paintings are so detailed and intricate, they resemble real-life.
Isn’t that CRAZY!? I need to learn how to do this, pronto. TOTAL MIND-FREAK!
Could you tell?
Oh my gosh – those are unreal! I definitely thought a few were pictures. So cool!
Oh – Fancy That.
I know, right? Totally breath-taking stuff. These artists are geniuses! <3
Wow, can’t believe that – particularly the black and white ones. I’d be interested in hearing more about how it’s achieved – for example, are they working off live models or from already taken pics?

I agree, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first saw these pictures too!
HM, that’s an interesting question. I know the artist Tan Wei Kheng works off photographs he’s taken of the different tribes. Maybe because it takes them a while to achieve such a realistic quality (I’m going to get a rude shock if I ever discover one of these people has done a hypersurrealist portrait in 2 days or something amazingly ridiculous like that)? So I shall assume this is true of the rest. Hehe.
Wow, those are amazing! I was so sure the shower ones (especially that second one!) were real!
I couldn’t believe it myself – I was so sure those were photographs! Incredible!
The 2nd one I was sure was real, as with the fourth. DAMN, that’s amazing!
This is all too unbearably cool. These people are seriously talented!!!
