It’s probably no secret by now that I enjoy dressing a bit lot like an androgynous slob.
I am eternally looking for that balance between dangerously sloppy and nonchalantly well-dressed. It’s just that there’s something so offhandedly amazing about being able to throw a pair of nondescript, slouchy pants oozing of slob and a white top together to make it look as chic as a well-tailored suit, all the while exuding a kind of je ne sais quoi.
Elin Kling of Style by Kling does an amazing job of looking chic in her ‘pyjama pants’.
Minty- you are hilarious. Love the sloppy-chic look. xo
Thank you Chelsea! And yes, the sloppy-chic look is so addictively comfortable; can’t get enough of it.

It’s a very fine line, that. I’m destined to fall into the slob category if I try to pull this off.
It is, indeed a very fine line. I have a feeling I might come under the ‘hobo’ category if I ever tried it. ….. ERM.. i still want to find some “pyjama” silk printed pants though. The slob in me won’t let it go.

I went to Century 21 last weekend and they had amazing pyjama bottoms for $6 in the men’s department, small enough for me to wear. So I thought I’d pick up a pair on my way out. By the end I was so exhausted that I FORGOT. Need to go back as soon as possible and then find a way to wear them in public.
That’s a fantastic idea! You should definitely go back and get them – the pyjama look is all sorts of amazing. You’ll definitely rock them. Ahh, I love the 21st century..
